Workshop: Central Park Primary School MARCH 2017

I headed another group-lead workshop for an East London primary school - Central Park. The class was much bigger so we separated them into groups of 5 and gave them much more freedom with the plasticine.

Before they arrived at the University, we asked them to rehearse a song that they'd learnt at school. The aim of the animations was to capture certain scenes and actions described within the song. Much like the last school, this class had a much looser imagination and was able to create their own characters that carried out their own actions.

We were very impressed with how quickly the pupils understood the methods of animating, and how they worked so well within the large group sizes.
